We’ve loved kicking off this year’s student consultancy project with the team from Manchester Metropolitan University.
This marks the third year of our partnership with MMU, a collaboration that has become a real highlight of our work at The Change Arc. Together, we’ve explored how young people see politics, leadership, civic life, and how that shapes their motivation to participate and lead change.
This year’s project builds on last year’s brilliant research into political perception and engagement among Gen Z. The new focus takes it a step further, looking at the motivation gap between caring about issues and taking action.
For us at The Change Arc, this work goes right to the heart of what we do: helping people and places build influence and impact through clarity, confidence, and connection. For MMU, it’s a chance to give students hands-on experience working with a live brief that sits at the intersection of strategy, communications, and social impact.
We’re excited to see where this next phase of collaboration takes us and what fresh insights this year’s group will uncover.
